1982 Harley Sportster Trike
"Cheyenne Lady" from MiddleBrook, Missouri, United States, made available these pictures of this beautiful 1982 Harley Sportster Trike which has a 1974 Ironhead engine and frame, and a Harley Servicar rear end.
She reports that the Harley trike was built and titled in Iowa in 1982, and she thinks the 1000cc Ironhead motor and frame are from a 1974 Sportster. The engine has electric start and kick start. She also added a trailer hitch and light plug, and she used it to pull a small pop up camper.
There's the blue peanut tank on the front and a 5 gallon aluminum tank on the back. The Harley Servicar rear end has hydraulic drum brakes. The front end has a 21" front tire in an old style springer fork with twisted chrome bars. This trike has headlights, tail lights and brake lights - she does not have signal lights or speedometer. The Trike Is 4' 8" wide and 9' 9" long, including the rear fuel tank.
The seat Is A Harley Air Ride Seat.
The aluminum storage box is 12" x 26" x 12".
