1979 Harley XLS Sportster Ironhead
Shaun from Warkworth, New Zealand, sent us these pictures of his 1979 Harley XLS Sportster Ironhead. This classic bike still has her original Harley Davidson factory paint job, and like all 1979 Sportsters she has a 1000cc Harley Ironhead engine with left shift and right rear brake.
Shaun: "Here is a very very original 1979 XLS 1000cc Harley Davidson for you. Been in storage for 17 years. Has had new battery, polished front end brake lines, tires etc. Original paint, looks great ... a few scratches."
Shaun's 1979 Harley Ironhead Sportster XLS indeed looks very original for a 30 year old motorcycle.
1979 Harley Ironhead engines have left foot shift and right foot rear brake.
