1979 Ironhead XLHE Harley Sportster
Greg from Poughkeepsie, New York, United States, made available these pics of his Custom 1979 Sportster which he classifies as a Harley Davidson Sportster XLHE, and which has a rebuilt 1100cc Harley Ironhead Engine. This Harley motorcycle has been his labour of love over the last 8 years.
That's an Avon Venom front tire.
Custom Fatbob stretched tank with billet cap.
Those forward controls and all steel braided lines look real cool.
Greg reports the Ironhead motor was profesionally built to 1100cc,
with High Compression pistons and HP Cams.
Greg's Sporty has a 40 degree raked front-end, the suspension has been lowered,
it has a Badlands seat, and Fatty drag bars and risers.
The Ironhead engine has chrome engine cases, an S&S carburator,
oil cooler and oil filter.
