1977 1000cc Ironhead Sportster

Kelly from Huntington Beach, California, made available these pictures of this amazing 1977 Ironhead 1000cc Sportster.
A couple of years ago this bike was rebuilt by Rieser's Cycles of Columbus, Ohio.
These cylinders were powder-coated black during the rebuild.
The right side of this 1977 1000cc IronHead engine shows the S&S carburator and the
rather rare tachometer cable connection.
Of all different Sportster Oiltanks, I like this type of oil tank best.
As you can see, the rear drum brake of this 1977 Ironhead Sportster is cable actuated.
